Auto power off: if no any button is operated within 60 seconds, the product will power off automatically. It will stand by if you push “READ” button again. The laser point is helping for positioning, which makes the measurement more accurate.
2. Distance measuring
Remarks: all the measured length starts from the bottom of the product. (that is, all the measured length includes the length of the product itself.)
Press “mode” button to measure the length. The sign “L” will flash on the screen. Press “READ” button, point the laser dot vertically to the position that you want to make the measurement, you will get the number on screen. If you press the “READ” button more than 2 seconds, the product will start the continuous measuring mode. The measurement will be done twice per second.
3. Under the mode of length measuring, press +/= will start the accumulating mode. The “+” sign will appear on the screen. Press READ button to get the first measurement, which will show on the screen. Press READ again to get the second. Screen will show the sum of these two measurements. And the further measurements will be accumulated to the previous result.
4. Measurement of area.
Press “Mode” for shifting to area measuring. The sign “XX” will appear on the screen. Then the length sign “L” will flash to remind you of length measuring. Press “READ” to get the length on screen. The width sign “W” will flash then. Press “READ” to get the measurement of width. The screen shows the result of the measured area. Press “READ” again for new measurement.
5. Measurement of volume
Press “Mode” for shifting to volume measuring. The sign “XX” will appear on the screen. Then the length sign “L” will flash to remind you of length measuring. Press “READ” to get the length on screen. The width sign “W” will flash then. Press “READ” to get the measurement of width. The screen shows the result of the measured area. The height sign “H” follows to remind you of the measurement of height. Press “READ” to get the height and the screen shows the volume. Press “READ” and repeat above steps for new measurement.
6. Unit shifting
Press “UNIT” for shifting among metric, inch and yard.
7. Temperature measuring
Press “mode” shifting to temperature measuring. It shows the current environment temperature. If you press “unit” at this time, you will shift between Fahrenheit and Celsius system.
8. Store and recall
Under the mode of length measuring, press “mode” and “+/=” at the same time to store the currently measured data. “M” will show on the screen. Press “mode” and “+/=” again together to cancel the storage.

9. Caution
1) The measuring accuracy may vary when the environmental temperature and moisture change. The product has the auto-compensation function for temperature. In order to secure the measuring accuracy, please wait until the temperature of the product is in accordance with the environment. Otherwise, there may be a big tolerance.
2) During the measurement, you must keep the product vertical to the measured surface. No obstacle is allowed in between so that the result will be accurate enough.
