 The FLD-20 Fluorescence Detector for Chromatographic Applications is based upon a unique system of high intensity light sources and ultra-sensitive fluorescence detection technologies. The excitation of the sample is through a high photon output monochromator utilizing a special high intensity ultraviolet isible light source. The optical path is optimized for very high sensitivity detection of weakly fluorescing liquids in flowing solutions. This technology has applicability to the chromatographic separation problems for which it is specifically designed. The FLD-20 is designed to be the most sensitive fluorescence monitor possible for analyzing flowing or static liquids.
