alfa-set 44/46 - 64/66

alfa-set  is a new generation of tool presetting devices that stand out from the competition because of their high level of measuring accuracy, lasting precision, user-friendly design and ergonomic styling and operation. 

The high level of measuring reliability of all alfa-set equipment is because of the new arrangement of the linear guides on the measuring column. The measuring point (tool blade) is located between two linear guides on the X axis (like a coordinate measuring machine). The measuring column is mounted on three pretensioned recirculating ball units with four rows. This ergonomically perfect solution allows even heavy tools to be inserted into the tool adapter easily. The selective, pneumatic axle clamping means that the measuring carriage can easily be moved to the measuring position. What is unique about it is that the operating grip is not mounted on the measuring system. The positioning forces do not influence the measuring system, they act directly on the vertical carriage. The newly-developed tool adapter in the form of a tapered bearing bush guarantees a high level of runout precision. All adapters, adjustment pins and reductions are manufactured from vacuum-tempered stainless steel.
